Ordering & Products

What's the difference between a sample and a full roll? Samples are pieces of wallpaper that let you see the colour, texture, and pattern in your own space before committing to full rolls.  If you order a sample that has a pattern repeat, the sample will be big enough to show the full repeat. Full rolls are 10 metres long and 52cm wide, ready to hang on your walls.

Can I order samples? Yes! We offer samples for £1.50 so you can see how the wallpaper looks in your lighting before you buy.

What size are your wallpaper rolls? Our standard rolls are 10 metres long and 52cm wide (some variations may apply - check individual product pages).

Installation

How do I hang wallpaper? Check out our step-by-step How to Hang Wallpaper guide for detailed instructions, tips, and video tutorials.

Is wallpapering difficult for beginners? Not at all! With the right preparation and our handy guide, most people can successfully wallpaper a room. Start with a small wall or feature wall to build confidence.

What tools do I need to hang wallpaper?  You'll need: a pasting table (if your wallpaper is paste the paper), wallpaper paste, a paste brush, smoothing brush, craft knife, tape measure, spirit level, pencil, and a seam roller (Always check instructions in case it is not recomended). Our installation guide has a complete checklist.

What does "pattern repeat" mean? Pattern repeat is the distance between where a design pattern repeats itself. This is important because you'll need to match patterns when hanging multiple strips, which can create wastage.

Can I wallpaper over existing wallpaper? We don't recommend it. For best results, remove old wallpaper first and prepare the wall surface properly. This ensures your new wallpaper adheres correctly and looks smooth.

Product Care

How do I clean wallpaper? Most modern wallpapers can be gently wiped with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and scrubbing. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Is your wallpaper washable? Check the individual product description - some wallpapers are wipeable or washable, while others are more delicate. We always specify the care instructions.

Will the wallpaper fade in sunlight? All wallpapers can fade over time with direct sunlight exposure. For south-facing rooms with lots of sun, choose fade-resistant options or use window treatments to protect your walls.

Design & Inspiration

How do I choose the right wallpaper for my room? Consider your room's natural light (check our Colour Guide), the room's size (large patterns can overwhelm small rooms), and your existing décor. Order samples to see how colours look in your specific lighting.

What's a feature wall? A feature wall is when you wallpaper just one wall in a room rather than all four. It's a great way to add personality and drama without overwhelming the space. Check our blog for feature wall inspiration!

Can I use wallpaper in bathrooms or kitchens? Yes, but choose vinyl or wipeable wallpapers that can handle moisture and splashes. Avoid areas with direct water contact like shower enclosures.
